Elder Financial Abuse is a significant issue in Tennessee. Every day, elderly members are victimized by family, friends and strangers of their hard-earned life savings. The average loss for victims is more than $120,000.

Detecting and reporting the abuse is one of the most important keys to stopping it. Credit unions now have a new tool to report Elder Financial Abuse. Special Agent Smith will walk us through the new Hotline, how it works and what to expect when your credit union makes a report.
